Hi,

Having taken my first (and not last) online beating yesterday, I stumbled on some annoying issues with the chat system.
It looks like the space bar is the shortcut for 'end turn' while the 'C' key is the shortcut for 'cancel' in the lobby room (+-).

Result of this is that while wanting to post a quick chat answer I sometimes ended my turn without wanting to do so. :-/ Hopefully I can apparently still post orders after that as long as other players are in their turn, but still it's highly annoying.

I would suggest to go more for a 'quake3 console like' approach for the chat, like hitting 'ESC' or 'T' or whatever key to then clearly show you're in chat mode. This would avoid us typing text while not in chat... :)

I'll remove C from Cancel, since it seems to be such a big deal, but I'll leave space because a lot of people are accustomed to it and I'm not willing to have no hotkey for it.

Add an option to disable space ending turn. Ooorr...make it take two spaces in a row to end the turn (This could be an option instead of the disable option).

I'd go with either option so I could chat without worries.

The problem is, you have to go with a default, and then you're basically at the same problem again.

Since more people will join in the future than are currently used to it, I'd make the default double space (Other keystrokes after the first space clear the command -- First space could highlight the end turn button, then second space would click it. Very visual indicator of what your keypress was doing.) to end turn since it's friendlier for not making mistakes, and include the option for single space turn end for anyone who's used to the current setup or just impatient.

Just my 2 cents on it.
