There is no way around it, is there?

If you're really afraid of cheating you could disable spectators.

I dont know if the server keeps a record of all the turns (or if its easy to impliment), but you could make the spectator x number of turns behind the acutal current turn.

It does'nt elminate the use of cheating, however it does make it less apealing and useful.

Yeah, we've already thought of that, but atm it's very messy to implement. If nothing else, once replays are there one can play a match with no observers and then just post a replay.

For anyone wondering, the next major feature will be the highly requested AI. It might take a while though, because we're pretty busy with uni and other things.

Go, go for server browser with details about who is playing on which server (including spectators).

I believe a lobby with ways to join games is planned, details of the games would make sense to include from there.
