Perhaps you remember the odd mention of an upcoming unveiling of an incredible strategy game in one of the [http://www.virtual-dragons.com] news posts. Probably you don't.
Mr. Lorenz (aka. emptiness) and I have been working on a simultaneous turn-based strategy game. It's already extremely stable, sexy and playable. We will now be doing some finishing touches and get a site together as we approach the public beta.
I'll be bringing you some images and screenshots, and perhaps a word or two to go along.
Starting off with the Main Menu seems adequate.
This beauty packs Soheil Khaghani's image in the background and our defined GUI, with cut corners on the left top and right bottom, in the foreground. We were lucky to find such an image and get permission to use it, as it symbolises the concept of the whole game. Void likes to describe Conquest as divide and conquer. You start off with a few troops and try to conquer as many cities as possible before your opponents do, with the ultimate goal to wipe them off the face of the world.
