hi

i'm trying to play the game trial, but whenever i run the game it crashes before i even get to a menu. ive tried reinstalling and redownloading the game a bunch of times and it hasnt helped. (im using windows 7, in case thats relevent)

I just purchased and installed the game from GamersGate, updated my Nvidia driver to the newest one possible, tried running the game and got an error "This applicaiotn has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." I click Okay and stops working. Rebooted, ran as admin, and same thing. I'm running Win 7 64 bit. Help!!!

Hey! Are you running Sophos Anti-Virus by any chance? In my case the AV consistently blocks one file (libConquestData.dll) after every download. I have to manually remove the quarentine and start Conquest again to get into the game.

No, I'm running Norton Antivirus and I've already tried turning it off and running Conquest but get the same error. Is the game compatible with the 64 bit version of Windows 7? Also, I'll try to attach my logs in another post here. I did check the Conquest.log and I see this message "Could not open configuration file "../Config/Conquest.cfg". There is no Conquest.cfg file in this folder, by the way.

Could you please post your dxdiag report as well? Start > run > dxdiag and then save report as or so.

The game should work on 64-bit Windows 7.
