Game CTDs constantly

I've messed around with tons of settings and the game just keeps CTDing. In full screen it crashes on turn 2, always. In windowed mode it's around turn 5. I have tried a multitude of video settings but they seem to have no effect. I have tried with differing amounts of opponents with no effect. It crashes after a few turns no matter what, straight to desktop.

Has to be something introduced in the latest patch. Looking into it.

Published a temporary fix, I could no longer reproduce it. If it still happens we'll have to wait until Lorenz comes around.
