Why can't a friend join my game?

You are most likely behind NAT and do not have the appropriate ports forwarded or they are being blocked by a firewall. Conquest uses TCP port 5121 by default, you can change it in the settings.

To circumvent this issue we are hosting official ranked and unranked servers which you can use instead of hosting your own. They are basically the same -- you can even customize the rules if you are the first non-demo player to join.

How can I run the game on 64-bit Linux?

You currently have to install 32-bit compatibility libraries. You can do so with "apt-get install ia32-libs" on Ubuntu and other Debian-based distributions. See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/32bit_and_64bit for more information. Also, please make sure to check "install 32-bit compatibility libraries" when installing your graphics card drivers.
